The news
Same platform, a name that says what it does
Dazhboards has rebranded as Hubsteer. The change covers the company's name, logo, colour palette and tagline. The product and the team behind it are unchanged.
The rebrand follows two years of conversations with tour and activity operators across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US. Many told the team the Dazhboards name was confusing and didn't explain what the platform does. Hubsteer connects the software operators already use, so bookings, guest messages, reviews, marketing and finance work together in one place.
Operators were honest with us: the name was hard to say, hard to spell and didn't tell anyone what we do. Rightly so. We found it hard to explain sometimes too. So we went all the way: new name, new logo, new colours, new tagline. The one thing we didn't touch is the product.
I've sat on both sides of the commission table, and operators don't need another dashboard. They need one place where their bookings, guest messages, reviews and numbers actually work together. That's Hubsteer: simple, connected, sorted.

Dinesh Kaku founded Hubsteer, then called Dazhboards, to give tour and activity operators one place to run their business. Before Hubsteer he founded and exited Backpacker Deals, an online travel agency operating across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US. He has worked on both sides of the commission table, which shapes Hubsteer's focus on operators and direct bookings. He is based in Melbourne.
